   OUR NIGERIAN DWARFS
           * * * * * * *
              (PAGE UNDER CONSTRUCTION)

In our herd of Nigerian Dwarf goats
there are twelve does and doelings along with one mature
buck and two little bucklings, one being blue eyed and
one polled.  We also have one little polled doeling.
The two little bucklings were brought in to add new bloodlines
to our  herd.   We also have for sale some more mature registered
bucks and two Silky Fainting Wethers.

Some of our goats are registered with
the Nigerian Dairy Goat Association,
the American Dairy Goat Association
and all are registered with the
American Goat Society.

The Nigerian Dwarfs have been selected for something
to keep us busy as well as entertain us, as most goats do.
We enjoy the new kids and have a pleasure in
selling them for breeding stock, as milkers, or as pets,
and for them to be a pleasure as well as beneficial
to other goat owners and breeders.

The Nigerian Dwarf is a miniature dairy goat of West African origin.
Nigerian Dwarf goats are a smaller size with colorful markings.
They require less space than the larger meat goats
and they are known to make good pets.   Their milk is higher in
butterfat and has a sweeter taste than some of the
other dairy goats.  Nigerian Dwarfs are known to be easy to
handle, even for small children. They have been approved
as a livestock dairy goat, which makes them eligible
for youth 4-H and FFA projects.

As pets, we have "Itsy Bitsy", a Boer doe, and also
two Silky Fainting wethers, "Silky Sam" and "Cactus Jack".

We are enjoying breeding and raising the offspring
of our registered Nigerian Dwarfs.  Our Spring, 2013,
kidding season is over and we will be kidding again
starting in August, 2013.

For the protection of our goats we have two
Great Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherd guard dogs.  They keep
a check  on our pastures
to make sure there are no unwanted critters on the ground or who might swoop down from the skies and do harm to these precious goats.
